The Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood is in Northeast Portland. It is one of the older neighborhoods in the city, about 470 acres in size, with a population of 5,346 as of 2010. House prices typically range from $500K to well over 1 million. In February 2024, Beaumont-Wilshire home prices were down 37.0% compared to the prior year, with a median price of $589K.
It was named for two old neighborhoods, Beaumont and Wilshire. The neighborhoods were established in the early 1900’s. Beaumont-Wilshire is near Grant Park, which is just south of Beaumont-Wilshire, in the Grant Park neighborhood. The architecture is fairly diverse, with many larger homes including English Cottages, Dutch Colonial, Tudor Revival, and Craftsman style houses. Many of the area homes are rather pricey and the neighborhood tends to somewhat affluent. Beaumont-Wilshire is bordered by the Alameda, Concordia, Cully, Grant Park, and Rose City Park neighborhoods.

The popular shopping district, Beaumont Village along Northeast Fremont Street, is nearby. Fremont Street is lined with restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, and coffee houses, and stays busy day and night. The neighborhood is close to more shopping and nightlife in the Hollywood district.
