The Portland neighborhood system is made up of 94 distinct neighborhood associations.  A neighborhood association is the officially designated, recognized organization for a specific geographic location. Neighborhood associations are the heart of neighborhood activities. Each association is self-governed by citizen-written bylaws that determine boundaries, the election and function of officers, and the frequency of meetings. Neighborhood associations work to reflect the issues and needs of its members.

Portland is loaded with houses built in the late 1800s and early 1900s.  These include Arts & Crafts homes, Bungalows, Portland style architecture, Queen Anne, Four Square, Tudor, Victorian, Colonial Revival, Craftsman, and Eclectic houses.  More photos and historic property information will be posted as it becomes available.
